Jan. 10—MORRIS — The Morris/Chokio-Alberta boys basketball group placed on a powerful efficiency in a 72-49 win over Paynesville on Monday evening.

Riley Asmus, a ninth-grader, had 19 factors, eight rebounds, 4 assists, three steals and two blocks for the Tigers, who improved to 5-4 with the non-conference win.

Drew Huebner added 14 factors and 4 assists and Drew Storck added 10 factors for Morris/CA.

Paynesville, tied for first with Eden Valley-Watkins within the Central Minnesota Convention with a 2-0 document, is 7-3 total.

The Bulldogs will host Kimball at 7pm on Tuesday in a sport at CMC. The Cubs are 1-1 within the CMC and 5-5 total.

Morris/CA will play BOLD at 7:15 pm Tuesday in a West Central Convention sport at Hen Island.
