RUSK – The Palestine Wildcats (1-0) opened district Friday with a 65-48 win over the Rusk Eagles.

Gerrle Abrams led the Wildcats with 25 factors. Ok’Mari Gipson was their second main scorer with 16 factors. Taj’Shawn Wilson rounded out their prime three with 11 factors. The Wildcats journey to Jacksonville Tuesday for his or her second district sport.
LaPoynor 78, Cayuga 35
CAYUGA — The Cayuga Wildcats (0-1) fell of their district residence opener towards the LaPoynor Flyers Friday 78-35.
Chase Hearell led Cayuga with 13 factors. Whit Jenkins adopted him with 1- level. The Wildcats return residence on Tuesday to host the Martin’s Mill Mustangs.
Neches 55, Slocum 32
SLOCUM – The Neches Tigers (4-1) defeated the Slocum Mustangs at residence on Friday 55-32.
Collin Morgan had the new hand on the evening with 18 factors. Morgan made 4 three pointers that evening. Mike Barrett adopted him with 15 factors. Neches traveled to Laneville Tuesday.
